嘗在數處圖書館「摱車邊、掹衫尾」，最後給計算機科學系收留。事後，人直呼哲學博士（香港）。在此之前，他以同樣的方式獲得了信息技術和電信法碩士（思克萊德），中國法律法學學士（中國政法），法學學士（榮譽）（伍爾弗漢普頓）。最近，考取了國際針灸醫師水平考試證書（世界針灸學會聯合會）和針灸學高級文憑（香港大學專業進修學院）。一直只是「摱車邊、掹衫尾」。

也曾漂泊流浪，後不知不覺地進了虛掩的衙門，宦海沉浮，忘了讀《官經：施政權謀經典》1，討不到飯吃。

一覺醒來，下了公堂，上了澡堂。化名淳于棼；業餘敲代碼，導出資料，推演一下，畫畫結果。

「莫聽穿林打葉聲，何妨吟嘯且徐行。
竹杖芒鞋輕勝馬，誰怕？一簑湮雨任平生。
料峭春風吹酒醒，微冷，山頭斜照卻相迎。
回首向來蕭瑟處，歸去，也無風雨也無晴。」2

興趣是：

  1. 人工智能和法律；
  2. 自然語言處理；
  3. 犯罪科學；
  4. 資料科學；
  5. 周易；
  6. 數位鑑識和調查；和
  7. 針灸。

業餘在香港大學專業進修學院講授「資訊科技鑑證深造文憑」的 2 個課程：

  1. 電子商務相關立法和網絡犯罪；和
  2. 收集數字證據和在法庭上提交證據。

業餘還在倫敦米德薩克斯大學講授「電子安全和數字取證碩士學位」的 2 個課程：

  1. BIS 4630 企業管治與欺詐分析；和
  2. BIS 4992 研究生計算機項目。

該碩士學位課程是倫敦米德薩克斯大學與香港大學專業進修學院合作的。

學院說是客席講師（航空、電腦運算、（先進）科技及數據科學學組）。

2019 年 7 月 8 日，告訴學院，他不會接受該 4 門課程的下一學期任命。要追求其它的生活方式。

2022 年 4 月，再續前緣。

期間，「摱車邊、掹衫尾」三年，執到了國際針灸專業人員水平考試證書，和針灸學高等文憑。

Whilst he tried to stay in several libraries, and finally sheltered by the Department of Computer Science, The University of Hong Kong, he merely relied on others and could not make it alone. Sometimes, he just made it and almost failed. Afterwards, people called him PhD (HK). Prior to that, in similar ways, he obtained the qualifications of LLM in Information Technology and Telecommunications Law (Strath), LLB in China Law (CUPL) and LLB (Hons) (Wolv). Recently, he picked up the qualifications of Certificate in International Proficiency Test for Acupuncture-Moxibustion Practitioners (WFAS), and an Advanced Diploma in Acupuncture Studies (HKU SPACE). He has always merely relied on others and could not make it alone.

He has rambled here and there. He even wandered from pillars to posts. He unwittingly go through the doors, left ajar, of officialdom. He went through ups and downs; he forgot to study the “Practitioner’s Handbook for Imperial Officials”.1 He was unable to beg for a living.

When he woke up, he went from courtrooms to bathrooms. He assumes the alias Yufen Chun. As an amateur, he hits keyboard; generates data; and scribbles some results.

“Drumming forest leaves, listen not to the rain’s striking song;
Just chant, sing verses, howl and ramble leisurely along.”

“A pair of straw-sandals, a bamboo cane –
Lighter, better than a horse (with flowing mane).
Why fear?”

“With straw-cape and straw-hat, through mist and rain,
I’ll walk life’s journeys again, and again.”

“It is Spring but blowing are the winds chill,
My drunkenness is gone, blowing until.
It’s cold –
The Sun, atop the hills, shines slantingly
(In spite of everything), to greet me.”

“Looking back at where all that had been
And where the dark, the winds and rains begin,
I’ll go home –
Non-sentimentally (with a grin),
Now there’s no more wind, rain or shine therein."2

He is interested in:

  1. Artificial intelligence and laws;
  2. Natural language processing;
  3. Science of crime;
  4. Data science;
  5. Zhouyi (Changes of Zhou);
  6. Digital forensics and investigations; and
  7. Acupuncture-Moxibustion.

As an amateur, he taught the following courses in the Postgraduate Diploma in Information Technology Forensics program, held at The School of Professional and Continuing Education, The University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam:

  1. e-Business Related Legislations and Cyber Crimes; and
  2. Collecting Digital Evidence and Presentation in Court.

As an amateur, he also taught the following courses in the Middlesex University London’s MSc Electronic Security and Digital Forensics program (collaborated with The School of Professional and Continuing Education, The University of Hong Kong, Pokfulam):

  1. BIS 4630 Corporate Compliance & Fraud Analytic; and
  2. BIS 4992 Postgraduate Computing Project.

The school called him an Adjunct Lecturer (Aviation, Computing, Technology and Data Science Group).

On 8 July 2019, he told them he would not accept the appointments to teach the 4 courses in the coming semester. He told them he has other pursuits in life.

He will be back in April 2022.

During this period, he picked up a Certificate in International Proficiency Test for Acupuncture-Moxibustion Practitioners, and an Advanced Diploma in Acupuncture Studies. He merely relied on others and could not make it alone.
